2019

My passion for computer science began in high school during my science curriculum. Indeed, I had the opportunity to participate in the UPSTI Engineering Sciences Olympiad in a group of 3 on a project of an automated battery charger. This charger has the ability to simultaneously charge 8 AA-type batteries, and then release them independently once charged. I personally took care of the computer and electronic parts of the project. Our project convinced the jury and we won the gold medal at the academic level, and a place in the top 20 in France.

2019-2024

After obtaining my scientific baccalaureate, I decided to pursue an engineering degree in computer science. I chose to join EPITA, one of the best computer engineering schools in France. The curriculum spans 5 years, consisting of 2 years of integrated preparatory classes, and 3 years of engineering cycle. The engineering degree, equivalent to a Master's degree, is state-recognized and certified by the CTI.

2021

During my second year of higher education, I had the opportunity to complete a 6-month Erasmus semester. Among the partner universities offered, I chose to study at Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte in Latvia. The courses were taught in English, and I had a wide choice of courses, especially in computer science and mathematics. This semester allowed me to discover a new culture and to improve my English skills.

2022-2023

At the beginning of my 4th year of study at EPITA, I completed a 5-month common core internship at Ekium. The internship took place in Ekium's Lyon office, where I worked on the Ekidi project, a tool for digitizing industrial processes. My role was to develop the functionalities of the web application (front-end and back-end) as part of the creation of a new fully automated factory for the company AirLiquide. I also worked on the application's data architecture and a KPI system to measure the performance of the factories.

2023

During the 4th year at EPITA, students have the opportunity to choose a major to specialize in a field until the end of their studies. Having a particular interest in AI, I chose the SCIA - Data Science and Artificial Intelligence major. This major allows deepening knowledge in mathematics related to AI, and discovering its different fields (machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, etc.). Within this major, 2 sub-specialties are offered: NLP (Natural Language Processing) and CV (Computer Vision). I personally chose the CV specialty as the field of computer vision particularly interests me for its technical challenges and practical applications.

2023

To prepare us for professional life, EPITA offers us the opportunity to carry out an end-of-study project in a company in a group of 5 students. This 6-month project must be related to the chosen major. With my group, we decided to carry out an AI project with reinforcement learning for the company FOGO. This new startup is developing a smart electric radiator, and our goal is to develop an algorithm to control the radiator to reduce energy consumption while maintaining optimal comfort.

2024

To complete my engineering studies, I chose to do my end-of-study internship at Stäubli, a large industrial company with three divisions: Robotics, Textile, and Connectors. Stäubli is mainly known for its robots with the highest precision and reliability on the market. My first task in this internship was to set up a unified data collection system for all robots in production. The second task was to use the collected data to develop a machine learning model for predictive maintenance on the robots to better anticipate breakdowns.
